Signal Booking and Mandatory Vaccination Policy
VACCINATION POLICY - CURRENTLY IN EFFECT
Following the recent announcement from the Province of Ontario that a vaccine passport program will be implemented starting Sept 22, 2021. Signal would like to confirm to its members that its location 112 Adelaide St East will be following suit.Vaccines will be mandatory for any individual wishing to visit the space beyond that date. This applies to all members and their guests.
Signal Members may choose to be screened upon arrival during regular business hours on Sept 22nd and onwards, or provide proof of full vaccination in advance by contacting Vanessa at Vanessa@graysonmusicgroup.
Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 means, having received 2 doses of a vaccine approved by WHO and having received the final dose at least 14 days ago.
Note* Guests arriving after 5:30pm must complete their screening in advance during regular business hours. Please send a copy of your vaccination receipt no later than 24 hours before entry to the space.
Unvaccinated individuals with a valid medical or religious exemption will be required to provide proof of a negative PCR or Antigen test no older than 36 hours, upon arrival to the space and must visit reception to fill out the full screening questionnaire.
Regardless of vaccination status all users of the space must adhere to the existing safety policies including masking in common areas or when social distancing is not easily accommodated.
This policy has been put in place with the safety of members and guests in mind, and failure to comply may result in the loss of use of Signal space and/or services.
SIGNAL'S SECURITY/USAGE POLICY
Subject to availability and confirmation of booking you will have access to the Signal premises, located at 112 Adelaide St East, Toronto, ON M5C1K9 during the approved session windows, over the term of your agreement.
Fee:
Studio access will be provided subject to fees as outlined on the Signal Creative Community website and is due upon booking to Signal.
Terms:
Guests are the responsibility of the booking member. You acknowledge that any guests brought into the Signal facility are your responsibility and must not be left unsupervised for any reason, at any time. In the event of damage done to the space, by either yourself or your guests, you may be held personally responsible for the cost of repairs.
- Guests to the space are limited to one person, in addition to the booking party, per studio.
- You are responsible for observing social distancing and all provincial/federally mandated safety measures for workplace environments. Please note that COVID-19 has created exceptional circumstances, and these policies may be revised, at Signal’s sole discretion. This includes additional requirements for those travelling. If you are travelling internationally please, follow the self-isolation protocols laid out by the CDC for all Canadians and do not enter the space for any reason. While a similar isolation period is not mandatory for those travelling domestically, with the predicted uptick in numbers as we head into the Fall, we ask that members, if at all possible, work remotely for the safety of their coworkers and return after a 14-day period has lapsed. If you cannot, we ask that you avoid all common spaces and put extra emphasis on social distancing from your peers and increased hand-hygiene.
- You acknowledge that during your time at Signal you might overhear details of ongoing work including but not limited to; customers and the details of their agreements, contracts and arrangements. These are considered Confidential Information and shall not be disclosed to any third parties, except as it pertains to your individual scope of work, or permission to do so has been granted in writing by Signal management.
- You acknowledge that you will be subject to the same rules and policies as an employee of Signal and that Signal reserves the right to change the provisions of any of these policies, systems and procedures at any time and without advance notice to you.
ETIQUETTE
Please try to arrive for a booking at the time of the booking and not prior.
Please vacate the meeting room or studio promptly at the end of your booking.
Please remove any work materials and/or personal or borrowed equipment prior to vacating.
Please erase any content on whiteboards.
Please remove any used dish-ware prior to vacating.
Please remove any garbage prior to vacating.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
Additional booking time may be required for special equipment requests - this additional time is the responsibility of the member.
All special equipment requests require 24-hour notice.
Special equipment requests cannot be facilitated outside of Signal business hours. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 7:30PM. Special requests should be made directly the Signal team during these hours.
HOUSE RULES
Studios
For Professional Members:
A minimum booking time is 5 hours.
A maximum booking time is 10 hours.
Studios may be booked up to 12 hours before session start.
Cancellations are permitted 6 hours prior to booking for small studios and 12 hours prior for medium studios.
No-show bookings are automatically charged unless cancelled outside of the cancellation window.
Signal will automatically allow rebooking of no-show bookings 1 hour after the start of an unoccupied booking. No-show bookings will still be charged.
Setup time should be considered when booking. Signal does not permit setup in studios outside scheduled bookings.
Live performances, rehearsals with amplification and drum-kit recordings are not permitted.
For Monthly Office and Studio Members:
A minimum booking time is 2 hour.
A maximum booking time is 10 hours.
Studios may be booked up to 1 hour before session start.
Cancellations are permitted 1 hour prior to booking for small studios and 6 hours prior for medium studios.
No-show bookings are automatically charged unless cancelled outside of the cancellation window.
Signal will automatically allow rebooking of no-show bookings 1 hour after the start of an unoccupied booking. No-show bookings will still be charged.
Setup time should be considered when booking. Signal does not permit setup in studios outside scheduled bookings.

Meeting Rooms
For Professional Members:
For Professional Members - A minimum booking time of 4 hour is required for boardrooms.
Meeting rooms may be booked 30 days in advance.
Cancellations are permitted 6 hours prior to bookings for Professional Memberships.
No-show bookings are automatically charged unless cancelled prior to booking.
Signal will automatically allow rebooking of no-show bookings 15 minutes after the start of an unoccupied booking. No-show bookings will still be charged.
For Monthly Office and Studio Members:
A minimum booking time of 1 hour is required for boardrooms.
Meeting rooms may be booked 30 days in advance.
Cancellations are permitted 30 minutes prior to bookings.
No-show bookings are automatically charged unless cancelled prior to booking.
Signal will automatically allow rebooking of no-show bookings 15 minutes after the start of an unoccupied booking. No-show bookings will still be charged.
Flagging Issues
Any issues with the usability of a meeting room or studio should be immediately reported to the Signal team before or after a booking. Signal is not responsible for meeting room or studio deficiencies if we are not made aware of issues as soon as possible.
Cleaning Charges
Cleaning charges will apply to studios not left in the exact condition they were found.
